Golden Retriever + Granular Dan
Just was sent this remix of Golden Retriever's epic second CD-R release (somebody do some vinyl for this band already) by Portland's Granular Dan, whom I met recently in a Gravity's Rainbow reading group recently. Somehow Dan's taken GR's harmonic syrup and layered it back upon itself atop some 4/4 UR-style drumz, I think I even hear additional delay.

if i didn't have a zillion things to do the next morning, i would have totally done the line of ketamine that was offered to me as i walked into friday night's relaxed, mini-rave in someone's kitchen. ian, avalon, a 909, an evolver, a pro one, a fog machine, free drugs, crucial sweatpants.. life here is beautiful what can i say?
